So who will OSU lose too?

:) Just kidding.

Cal still has to play USC, and they won't cave just having lost a game. LSU has a long road to go. As much as it defies any logic I could apply, Ohio State might actually get back to a title game if they win-out.

I can see OSU dropping one more this season. If it is at Penn State they could still see the title game. However, if it is a loss to Illinois then they will be on the outside looking in. Right now the National Championship game may be the two teams who lose earliest. With the parity we are seeing this year imagine what a legitimate playoff would look like.

He, whose name I want mention, you did NOT just open the door for the Annual Major College Football Playoff Debate did you? (And I'll donate $5 to AZZ for anybody that comes up with a suitably clever acronym for that.)

Strictly speaking, we've had that debate for the year, you have to wait until January '08 before we can start again.

Major University Football Forum Debate Involving Viciously Effective Retorts. Not sure its clever but it IS an acronym.

They would have had to have already lost a game to lose one more.

They are undefeated so they can not lose one more game. The can lose one game, but that would be just one. Not one more.

at this time, I can not see them losing a regular season game. we know UM has trouble this year and JT has great success at exposing them. Illinois showed their true colors losing to a woeful Iowa while only scoring 6 points. Penn State is inconsistent, they will be up for the OSU game no doubt but their extreme lack of consistent play makes me feel pretty good about that game. It will be our third 8 PM road start it is not anything new to us.

Either Penn State or Michigan. But, we all know the woes Carr has had versus Tressel, so I'm thinkin' they'll handle Michigan. And to your point, PSU has been way too inconsistent. It all depends on what Nittany Lion team shows up. Being at home is a big plus for PSU, but Morelli needs to be on his "A-game" if PSU is to have a shot. If PSU starts off slow offensively, it will be a long day for JoePa and co. As much as it pains me to say it, I think OSU wins in a sqeaker in this game and they will go on to run the table. :(

who knows? What I do know is it's funny that BG has already beaten 2 of 3 teams on osu's schedule. We still have Akron in two weeks. I'm certain BG could have beaten that tough penguin team too. Heck, BG lost on the road to MSU the same Spartan team osu barely got past today at home. The no. 1 ranking is a joke.

LOL! Please!

OSU dominated that game. They had a 50 second brain fart and gave MSU14 points. You didn't even watch the game I bet!

Just so you are aware, 14 of those points were not scored on OSU's D. Boeckman relaxed just a little too much for two plays and MSU made him pay for it. A well needed peice of Humble PIE. It was a blessing for the Bucks to give them two defensive touchdowns.

The game was a blowout, not even close. MSU struggled to even get 200 yards of offense.

besides who else would you put #1?

LSU almost got a 2nd loss, they will lose another game.
USC??? what a laugher. Go Stanford!

Everyone likes to live in the past and hold the title game over OSU. Great! # 1 and extra motivation being thrown at them constantly!!

Everyone told Florida last year they didn't belong in the title game. Everyone will be telling us the same this year.

I love it! 2002 all over again! Wait, we didnt belong in that title game either, I forgot

ha
Go Bucks!

I hate to admit it but OSU has a great shot to run the table. With their defense, they can beat anyone in the Not So Big Ten this year. UM? Tressel owns those boys. Penn State has a shot...I believe if OSU is to lose a game it will be this weekend. Illinois? Not convinced they are legit yet...Wisky? Vastly overrated even though Wisky has had the better of OSU lately.

Tressel knew what he was doing this year. Play a bunch of creampuffs and have a shot to get back to the title game. But OSU's D really is that good...

#1 in the nation? Sure...but that ain't saying much this year.

No one belongs in the title game this year. The teams that are winning are doing it against mediocre schedules. Parity is taking over (and I love it).

That said, OSU-BC is looking extremely likely, provided each team gets through this weekend, where I feel both face their toughest game.

I think the Buckeyes fall this week. PSU is a damn good team at home, and the Buckeyes have yet to be tested this year. If the game is close and OSU needs points I expect Boeckman to fold like a cheap suit.

Personally LSU is the best team I've seen this year and it ain't even close. I don't care that they lost a triple OT game against a first round draft pick QB on a good team. OSU is probably the 2nd best team I've seen this year. That defense is very good, the offense is so-so.

LSU is lucky they do not have three losses..

I will give you 24 hours to change your thoughts.

PSU got stomped!! Boeckman was very very impressive. almost 500 yards of offense on that great Penn state team at home haha

what a joke. Joe Pa should have just went to bed. 8 PM kick off is way past his bed time.
