Central ties the game on another Purdue turnover, 41-41, with a few seconds left in the third.

The Chips are defending the leagues honor well.

And let me say, Ford Field is FULL, very very strong turn-out for the Chips.

Great game, but CMU comes up short by a field goal, losing 51-48.

Still, the MCB has again shown itself as one of the most truly entertaining bowl games, and had stellar attendance. It may be in Detroit, but its a gem of a game.

I don't know if you guys caught this, but the one announcer said he thought that it was an attendance record for the motor city bowl. It was a great game to watch. The MAC was represented well.

The announcer did indeed say it was an attendance record, whether or not it is I am not sure. Also i was listening in the car to the local 1470 stuff and i think they made a good point. The announcers would not stop talking about the CMU coach going to WV to interview. Even when the game was close. it was irritating.

GO LSU!

Yes, they talked a lot about the WV coaching spot. Also, the LSU injury updates. Got tired of it.

It is. They broke 60,000. The Motor City has never done that before. They've had several crowds in the low-to-mid-50s, including our game up there.
