AZZ at EMU

While sitting at the UT-EMU game in Ypsi in my midcourt, third row up seats with rows of empties stretching as far as the eye could see on either side I noticed one of the guys at the scorer's table was logged on to AZZ's home page. Then he split the screen and did all kinds of wierdness that took him somewhere else so I missed whatever he'd been doing. It was probably the high point of the game for me.

What a dead place- made Savage look like Cameron.

It's a shame, because EMU has such a nice facility. Forget one of the best in the MAC, that's one of the nicest basketball arenas anywhere. Unfortunately very few actually know what it looks like inside.

H2O,

I had to do a double take when I saw the UT-EMU score last night. What is going on in Stan's world? I thought UT was supposed to be a pretty good team this year.

I did watch some of the WMU-CMU game on ESPN U last night. CMU looks weak....

We're pretty good with Shane Ross (kicked off team) and Kasheef PAyne (?). Unfortunately, we don't have them.

We have nine players, four are Frosh and one of them a walk-on who saw the floor for the first time last night (and by the way don't get excited about your guy Cameron's outing against Akron-our walk-on filled up the stat sheet pretty well in 3 minutes last night against mostly EMU starters). Our only real post guy has disappeared the last two games and the other two big guys have manos de piedra. We got two guys who can score and none who can shoot. Ty Kent is one of the best in the league but he's got to do it alone most nights. On a good night we'll play with all but the top two or three teams at home but that's true of just about everybody in the MAC. You guys will beat us soundly at AA.

Our team and season have a certain Dakichesque quality this year.

I see. To tell you the truth, it seems both teams mirror each other cuz I haven't seen too many shooters on BG this year either.
