Memphis hoops

Post by TG1996 »

Does anyone know if any players from Memphis are on the verge of any personal records? Up 26 on Tulsa in the second half seems like the perfect time to try to get them. :-D

It was 42-13 at halftime. It wouldn't have broken my heart to see it end up 84-26

I'm a fan of Memphis, I love their style. Combine that with the whipping that BG took, I was hoping Memphis would put up a hundred on 'em.

Anyone watch the end of that Kentucky game? Goaltending a free throw is a first for me.

No I missed the end of the game (I opted for "Horton hears a Who" with the kids). But thanfully for the SEC many fans in atlanta didn't get to see it either. What a joke, a tournament in which fans aren't allowed to attend. Gonna be a lot of pissed people that bought tickets off of other fans that didn't even get to see one game.

It was intentional. With only 1.2s left, Gillispie did not want UGA to miss the shot on purpose. He told to stevenson to swat at it, thinking the basket would count and then UK would get to inbound the ball. Unfortunately, Gillispie didn't know that was a technical. Oops. Oh well, it fits with how crazy the whole SEC tourny as been this year.

Yeah I know. I guess they changed the rule 3-4 years ago and now it is a technical. Still pretty weird.

Memphis might be worse than BG at free throws. They will not win the National Championship if they contine that performance.

I think they'll beat Michigan State, but bow out to Texas.
