Its official, heading to Ohio State, but how will he actually do?

Amazing athlete, big time issues with attitude, seems like a wash up in the wating. Sounds much like Xavier Lee, if you ask me. I could be wrong, though. Troy Smith was a thug in high school, had a little incident involving punching a reporter if I remember correctly, but he succeeded at Ohio State.

I'm betting somewhere between Maurice Clarett and Art Schlicter.

The only reason I would even care where he goes is that if it was a MAC school and effected Bowling Green!

He will arrive in Columbus driving his brand new Cadillac Escalade.

I hate recruiting coverage. These people who fawn over high school kids before they actually step foot on a college campus have a bit of a child fetish and it's not healthy. Most people who stalk children go to jail. It just seems like a waste of time to project high school players to such a higher level, no matter how good they are. Did anyone say Justin Zwick? There's just no way to know for sure if a player will be worth anything in Division I this early on.

I hope Pryor got enough free trips out of dragging this thing out. I can't wait to watch him get knocked on his ass and come crashing back down to earth. Even Northwestern hits a lot harder than anyone he saw in high school.

As a Michigan fan, I'm going to say this was his best logical choice. Going to UofM he would have been thrown in early...too early. At osu he can at least have a year of coming in for certain formations and times he's actually needed. I hate seeing players with potential come in and ruin their careers by not getting the coaching and training they need before stepping on the field. For his sake, this was his best choice.

OSU doesn't develop QBs so I found it odd that he chose to go to school there.

2nd Zwick was rated one of the best QB's coming out of high school and he now does a sports show once a week on local television, so HS level talent doesn't equate to college level talent.

Troy will be a NFL starter, Boeckman is one of the top QB draft prospects and did pretty damn well in his first year as a starter. His stock will only go up this year. Cooper didn't develop QB's. Tressell and Daniels have done well with THEIR QB's that THEY recruited.
