...think that East Carolina might just be the real deal this year? I know they beat Virgina Tech last week, and I don't think Tech has a lot this year. However, I'm watching the them play West Virgina right now, and they're looking like they just might have something. They are hanging with, and looking impressive against the #8 team in the country. I'm willing to give them the benefit of a doubt right now.

They have to be lucky against someone in conference and considering they have to play Tulsa still... lets not get ahead of ourselves.

Well they dont play each other in the regular season, but if they both make it there it would for sure make for an interesting CUSA Title Game

I'm a believer in East Carolina. That 24-3 smackdown of WVU was impressive.
I'm keeping an eye on the Pirates to see how they do.

Its not an easy road with games still to play
@NC State
@ UCF
@ Southern Miss
Plus you have the building pressure every week of being undefeated, something I believe BG cracked under a few years ago after defeating NIU.

#14(AP) and #20(USA Today) in the polls this week. Very impressive.

You mean in '02 when we cracked under the pressure and lost to NIU?
Because in '03 we beat NIU, but we had already lost to OSU that year. The only other losses that year were to the dominant Miami team.

NC State sux, UCF will be a challenge and SMU isn't what they usually are. I like the Pirates' chances to really do well.
