Man, those comments about many (not all) OSU fans are dead on. I feel badly for TB...he is a very classy kid who thinks TEAM first. I agree with the one poster....TB is going to be called upon to win a game down the road and those that booed him will change their tune in a heart beat.

Yea that was not cool.

I wanted Pryor to start but only because he gives more options on offense when the offensive line is not playing well. I wanted Pryor to start more for his mobility so we wouldn't be taking sacks all day.

I like Boeckman. I know I talk bad about his taking sacks and getting happy feet sometimes instead of running out of pocket and dumping the ball, but I still like him.

He got us to a national title game for crying out loud. I don't think anything this year is his fault, it is on the o-line. Pryor is just simply the better option in this situation.

I left Boeckman words of encouragement on his myspace page.

I am still a fan of his.

I can't wait until he comes in to be a hero in a game. It may be as soon as the Wisconsin game.

Another article about the boo birds in today's Dispatch.

Maybe Tressel should lash out against OSU fans like Mike Gundy from Oklahoma State. Boeckman "goes to class, he's respectful to the media, he's respectful to the public, and he's a good kid! And he's not a professional athlete and he doesn't deserve to be kicked when he's down!!"

Its not unique to OSU. UK had the same problem in their second game, against Norfolk State. There was/is a QB competition going on between Sophomore Mike Hartline (of Canton OH) and true Freshman Cobb. Hartline was Booed quite loudly when he came out to start the second half of that game, even though UK was up by about 3 TDs. Its a damn shame and an embarrassment that people think Booing college players is acceptable.

I'm not against booing college kids, I mean some "kids" are 22 or 23 years old. As in the DDN article "kids" that age are dieing in Iraq starting families and many other things. To be a kid for not playing well is something I'm completely against. But if a player who is going to school for free is loafing or committing personal fouls or taunting you should be able to boo that person.
