They are making it a game. Anything can happen in this series.

EDIT: now 28-7. Anything like a blowout.

Fugly. Going to be a long cold ride for the 12 Michigan fans that went to that game.

Could it be any worse for the entire state of Michigan this year?

Michigan State is having a decent season. Not sure if they can wrap up a xmas present and win for the Buckeyes but they are the only promising thing going for that state.

You are joking, right? GVSU is 11-0, UofM beat UCLA in hoops, Flipper lives there...I'd say there's plenty of promising things going on-in fact a likely National title in a Division that actually HAS a national title.

I was jost basing my reply on Michigan and Michigan state when he said could it be worse for the whole state of Michigan. But just because the Lions and Tigers and Wolverines are having down years it doesn't mean the whole state is bad. Even with MSU getting drilled by Penn State there is much promise in the state. Hockey is still going strong. CMU and WMU had promising years (9-3 is much better than 5-6 ;-) ) Maybe we should say can it get any worse for Detroit and its surrounding areas!! Detoit Mayor Scandal, Auto Industry, Detroit Tigers and Lions, U of M (football). Take out those and the state is doing rather well!!

GVSU plays NOBODY. Ashland, Findlay, cmon! They should at least play in the division below D1 whatever they call it. Although enrollment is not the criteria for division status, GVSU has higher enrollment than BG. I've seen them live several times. They pack the staduim, and the program is solid, but they just don't play anybody.

Did someone say they did? Or did someone say that they are a sports team that is a promising thing going for Michigan? Packed stadiums and undefeated seasons are promising.

Actually it's the FCS - formally Division 1- AA (Youngstown State etc.)

GVSU plays in Division 2 - two levels down from FBS - Division 1
