Give Joe some love. Lord knows that if they were in the BCS championship, PSU would represent much better than THE O.S.who?

I am happy they won. I have been pulling for them all season.

The Big Ten has a steep drop off right now after OSU and PSU.

...and THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY BUCKEYES. Since OSU and Penn State shared the title with identical records in the Big Ten of 7-1. Since PSU beat OSU, PSU gets the automatic BCS berth, which is traditionally the Rose Bowl. However, OSU could, and probably will, end up in a BCS Bowl. They played well down the stretch after the Penn State game, unlike years past where they struggled in games, and also put butts in the seats.

On the BCS note, lets remember that local organizing committees that are often affiliated with Chambers of Commerce or Convention and Visitors Bureau's still run the Bowl games.

Can't stand PSU.

My guess for OSU is the Capital One Bowl...now I need to go visit the Toilet Bowl.

I always hated the "Co" title attached to supposed champions. PSU and OSU had identical conference records. PSU won their game straight up, they're the champions.

and then they lost to Iowa so what is your point? They are co-champs. They go to the Rose Bowl to get killed by USC. Congrats. I will take the Capital One Bowl and destroy Georgia.

My "point" is that the Rose Bowl is reserved for the Big 10 champion. It doesn't matter if you're in the Big 10 or C-USA: if you are not designated the champion through either a bowl game or conference championship game, you're not a champion.

Really? Then why do they both get a trophy and rings? Obviously only one team can go to the Rose Bowl, but there are two champions, those are the rules, that's the reality.

The last place team in tee-ball gets trophies too.

Wrong. Unless Oregon State loses to Oregon, the better OSU is going to the Rose Bowl to face PSU, and USC is going elsewhere in the Bowl Championship Series.

Even if Oregon beats Oregon State, if USC loses to UCLA (don't laugh it happened 2 years ago), the ducks are headed to the Rose Bowl instead.

Besides, Ohio State would kill Georgia?!! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

You do know that Georgia sucks right?

SEC is over rated. They have never been more ove rated than this year.

They have Florida and Alabama. That is it. They are like the Big 10. They are a two team conference.

What?

Two teams from the same conference will never play each other in the same bowl game. They are for interesting match ups. All that would be is another game that we have already seen and will see again every year for the rest of our lives.

Get real.
