I tried to post a poll, but my computer abilities have denied me....But, I was called out. Hence, I'd like to get an opinion.... Who's the true Big Ten Champ? Penn State or Ohio State?

It's got to be Penn State...they beat OSU, on the road, at night, and they are the ones who will represent the Big 10 in the Rose Bowl Game.

PSU lost to an unranked team. OSU did not.

It is a pointless discussion. The books say both. They both get a trophy and they both get a ring. Both the trophy and the rings will say "big ten champions". I don't care if you like it or not. Just the way it is. 4 in a row for OSU.

That is ring # 1 for Mr. Pryor. Lets keep count for the next three years shall we?

Sports like soccer get slated so often for making a drawn game a desirable outcome. "Draws" seem to be at such odds with the American psyche, yet it is common in College football system for teams to "share" conference honours. This is OK in itself, except that the question over which team plays in which Bowl game so often sours the validity of those post season games.

I think conferences are better for close competition. Where final conference standings affect Bowl selection, though, there should be a definitive rule to decide 1st place, or a playoff. Anything else is just not cricket.
