The Florida Gators...

Wow...simply awesome team led by THEE best player in the game, Tim Tebow. Urban looks good on the sidelines...and I like FL's chances of winning a 2nd national title soon.

How about Oklahoma scoring 60+ points for the 5th straight game and setting a record for points in a season. They have scored 45 or more for 9 straight games. WOW!!!

MizzoU was a weak sister that shouldn't have been in the game. Blame the B12 for that blunder. That said, OU's offensive line looked utterly scary. Humans are not supposed to grow that large!

I think Urban will be ready for the game. Unlike the guy he left behind in BG, he knows how to brace for a big game like that. He wasn't favored against Ohio State either, and we all know how that turned out.

He wont' get to play the underdog card this time around. It'll be interesting, but I still think Florida wins.

Urban doesn't need to be the underdog. This should be a hell of a game...

I agree, but you have to be careful. I think it's like 7 of the 10 BCS title games have been won by the underdog.

You guys are going to be pissed when Urban is Ohio State's coach one day. JT won't be around forever.

Meyer is in a perfect situation. He's a god-like figure on his team, he can name his own price, and he has the cream of the crop of talent to recruit from. Why would he want to leave?

The only place Urban is going if he goes anywhere is the NFL somewhere. Other than that, he's going to be at Florida for a longgggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg time, he's got a dynasty going on there why would he waste that to go to boring ol columbus aka plain city usa

Why does everyone continue getting a hardon over OU? There is no defense in the Big XII. How do people keep forgeting this? Check out what happens to OU when they get to BCS bowls against real defenses. Even when they don't play a real defense, they still can't win. They are worse than Ohio State! Why don't people ever bring this up?
Past 4 BCS trips:
OU vs WVU held to 28 points against West (effing) Virginia?
OU vs Boise St 42 points, only 35 in regulation, and one TD was on a INT return and the other was on an 11 yard drive following a muffed punt. So basically their offense only put up 21 points in 60 minutes against Boise St
OU vs USC 55-19
OU vs LSU Amazing offense averaging over 45 ppg, with scoring 50+ in seven games (5 of those games against big XII teams) is held to 14.
So why should we expect this year to be any different?

In 2006 when the Gators beat the Suckeyes (cough cough) the Buckeyes, I was in 4th grade and I in with a huge smile and just looked at the Ohio St. bodag fans that were ripping on Florida. They kept saying the game the game was fixed. I laughed, said whatever, and said you have an excuse for everything and can't take a loss. Then I opened my locker which had a little Gator head in it!

I've actually brought it up before that Urban could conceivably replace Tressel at Columbus. I don't think that is a far stretched idea. Even if Urban bolts for the NFL (presuming he doesn't have success), takes a year or two away, he could end up back in college at or around the time Tressel would hang 'em up.

It has been interesting to follow Urban's career path and I think it will continue to be as interesting as it already has been. I don't see him staying put, it is in his nature to always want to achieve the next goal.

Good point, DD. FL is a great gig but maybe someday he wants to coach in his home state again...
