Its a little schizo- this shot is from the side with the luxury suites and looks more like the old Savage. The lower section is a bowl now but the upper is very much like the original. The seats, instead of the hideous multi-colored things, are all blue except for gold seats i the shape of the Rocket logo. The side from which this shot is taken looks completely different w/ loge seating and the boxes which are very nice. Above them are the athletic offices which have spectacular views of the campus as well as of the arena's interior. I would have liked to see some changes above on the east side but can't have everything. This will serve us well for a long time I think.
If you follow the staircase on the far right up to the third post you will see, to your left, two people side by side in white, one of whom appears to be wearin a white hat. The one on the right is me and my daughter is almost invisible in blue to my right. Very nice seats.

Yeah, those old seats were hideous, so props on that upgrade. And it's pretty cool that you can find yourself in that pic.h2oville rocket wrote:Its a little schizo- this shot is from the side with the luxury suites and looks more like the old Savage. UT still sucks!! Hey H20, I'm a BG fan and grad...what do you expect me to say.
Kidding aside, it does look different from the pictures I have seen of it. The bowl was a good idea, before there seemed to be a lot of wasted space around the floor.
I never cared much for Centennial before, maybe it will be different now, unless you sit close to the top on the side that still has all the seats.
On the whole it looks like they did a nice job. UT still sucks though.

If my dad forced me to go to a Toledo game I would want to be invisible too.h2oville rocket wrote:Its a little schizo- this shot is from the side with the luxury suites and looks more like the old Savage. Don't know why not- midway through the last home game last year people started tearing the joint apart, railings, wall hangings, tables and anything else that could be easily removed were gone before the game ended. I guess the bu8ilding schedule was pretty tight.Metz wrote:Yeah...but I still always wanted one. Didn't make it out the door though...SaxyIrishTenor wrote:Yeah, those old seats were hideous

I had it under my coat with 5 guys around me...I got stopped and had to return it to it's place. That was about 4-5 years ago though! I think that was the 2002 game; McLeod hit the 3 at the buzzer to force OT, but we lost in OT.Metz wrote:I had it under my coat with 5 guys around me...I got stopped and had to return it to it's place.
