Not a bad game, more fun to watch than most. Glad I'm not a Big Ten fan.

That was awesome. It gives me even more joy to watch them lose like that than watching them get pounded again. The play Texas scored on would've been a TD from 95 yards out. What was OSU doing?

Even after OSU scored the go-ahead TD, my dad still said, "Well, at least they represented well this year."

It's (a little) sad that it has come to this for OSU fans when it comes to bowl games.

I wonder how long it will be before the city of Columbus turns against Tressel. I saw and hear plenty of people saying he should be fired after the PSU game. I think they're wrong, but I have a feeling the change of opinion is coming.

I heard a rumor that Ohio State was going to hire Bobby Cox to replace Tressel.

osu winning bowl games has no effect on Tressel's job. As long as he beats the Maize and Blue, they will keep him. If that's not obvious by now, I don't know what is.

Pyror needs to learn to get the first down before he goes out of bounds. He did it twice and both times OSU ended up losing possession.

Metz, my family and I were sittin at the local bar back home watchin the game last night and we all came to determine that Tressel could well face the same fate that one Earl Bruce did. He could beat UM but couldn't win the big ones. I think you give them another 2 or 3 BCS Bowl L's and embarassing L's against the "name" teams that they play OOC ex: USC, Oklahoma, Miami, Va Tech in the years to come and people will start to put a little pressure on him reguardless of if he beats Michigan or not. OSU fans are getting tired of watching their boys lose the "big" ones year after year. I can't even count the times I heard the gang say, "oh boy, here it comes again" last night.

He has won the Big Ten, a National Title, and his whips Michigan like a rented mule. The bowl games are an irritant, and maybe they should be. Yet he clearly did better than the rest of the Big Ten, compared to how everybody else rolled over. And I dare say Texas has become a rival of sorts, which adds something to that game last night.

If Ohio State fans have an issue with their coach then truly I will never be able to understand them. It isn't like he lost to his rival three years running, was blown out in record fashion in a bowl, had grades and graduation rates drop so low he lost grants, and lost four home games against the little sisters of the poor, while also blaming his players, the Pope, and the Easter Bunny for the losses.

The post game interviews, the WR said he and McCoy were talking and said that every time OSU "brought everybody" something opened up in the middle, and sure enough, they did, and it did, and what little was left to defend was too deep to really stop him.

OSU missed one tackle last night. The last Texas TD. OSU really punched Texas in the mouth and man handled them. I was actually rooting for Ohio St. last night because I was sick and tired of hearing how mid-west football was done for and that Ohio couldn't compete athletically with the other states anymore.

I was happy that at least one mid-west school went out and really punched one of the Southerners in the mouth.

Are you talking about the TD? Was he even that open? Looked covered and just shook a tackle.

You really don't think OSU would've kept a safety deep if Texas wasn't knocking on the door? The scheme was fine, but the angle the corner took was terrible. He had fine position to make the tackle and he blew it.

137, I think we were watching two different games last night. OSU did not manhandle UT. OSU controlled the first half offensively, but only managed 6 points because they weren't able to put it in the endzone. UT had some success throwing the ball in the first half, and the only reason that OSU went into the locker room up at halftime was because of a poor decision by Colt McCoy. OSU DID NOT manhandle UT in the second half. UT was the better team for most of the second half. It was a great comeback by OSU to take the lead. I was impressed with the last two drives. I still can't believe with what little time was left that that OSU took that big a risk defensively. Knowing a TD was the only thing that would beat them, it was a poor decision. It was a great game, but in no way did OSU manhandle UT. The first half was played at OSU's pace, but it's two half game.
