I did a little scouting last night and watched a good share of their spring game from the BCSN feed.

I slept very well!

Well of course you did... You went to sleep thinking about what you literally spend all morning and all day thinking about, the Rockets. I don't know whos case of Rocket envy is worse, yours, NWLB, or Redwingtom. Might I suggest you go in your closet, pull out your SEE YOU AT THE GAME shirt, and give in to your desires of becoming a full-fledged Rocket Fanatic.

Yeah.....we want to be just like Toledo!! I think the envy is on UT's part, hiring past BG football and strength coaches so they can be almost as good as BG. Some of those things Beckman is doing have been done for 10-15 years by other schools, just not getting the publicity that he is right now. The honeymoon will end about October when thye are 1-3 or 0-4! :)
UT's results on offense looked more like UT from last year than any resembalance of a spread that BG has run and I thought we were way too predictable the past few years. Speaking of run....that was non existent, while I was watching, maybe even minus yards!

Dude, you need to find a way to get out of your time warp. YOU HAVE NOTHING LEFT TO BE ENVIOUS OF, if you ever really did!

Is that so? Even when Toledo gets a schedule screw job by the MAC its still better than anything BG gets out of MAC schedule screw job. Speaking of scheduling, how is it Toledo is able to schedule a "home" and home with OSU, yet the best BG can do is schedule a "home" and home with Wisconsin? We both know the answer to that question. Its because Toledo is better than BG. Thats what pisses you and the rest of your pathetic fan base off. You may have beat us on the field the last two years but you will never be looked at on the same level of Toledo.

Face it, BG will always be Toledo's retarded little brother to the south.

I wouldn't read too much into what any team looks like in any spring game.

QB's are off limits so 98% of the sacks would not be sacks on game day. teams are split so entire starting units aren't even on the field together.

incoming freshman aren't even on campus yet and at least a few of them will see playing time in some fashion.

judging any team based on spring ball is a joke. I hear michigan looked decent during their spring game, but I heard the same thing last year. Look where they finished.

Wait, who hijacked tekekini's account? This is WAY too reasonable a post.

Last I checked... Toledo got the idea of "hosting" in Cleveland from BG... so... your point is null, and as far as scheduling Toledo, last I checked they schedule at least one Ohio MAC school each season, this just happens to be Toledo's year... lastly everyone knows that this will be an OSU home game in Cleveland so why even argue that it's a Toledo home game, at least when we played Wisconsin, the crowd was still in BG's favor... that is all.

One slight difference. Toledo is going to make a boat load of cash on this venture. Downside, Amstutz' left over food tab will deplete any cash surplus.

OSU isn't man enough to play BG away from Cbus...two very close calls in 1992 and 2003 did that. Nor are they that stupid.

Say, how did the last game with OSU go for UT? Wasn't it like, 49-0 or so?

And let's see an update in that all time series...um, yep, 38-31-4.

TJ, how can our fan base be so pathetic as to only draw 11,000 fans for the BG/UT game? Hell, we brought 2,000. C'mon man, you can do better than that.

"but you will never be looked at on the same level of Toledo".

You're right. We're better than you.

Those aren't my words Freak. I was just quoting one of YOUR former head coaches. I figure if its okay for your head football coach to call you pathetic, then why can't a fan from the rival school call you that? I guess maybe you girls aren't man enough to take a few jabs from one of your rivals.

I know, Amstutz is fat.

Riiiiiigggghhhht.... You really think BG is better than Toledo... You really believe that? I know you don't. Your OWN administration doesn't think BG is better than Toledo.

So a budget crisis means the BG administration thinks UT is better then BG, thats makes perfect sense
