It's always someone else fault with you isn't it? Everyone has the same mission statement and I am glad you care so much about Osu's to look it up and post it for us. If you think this only happens at Osu then you are blind or selective reading/hearing/comprehension because you act like it never happens anywhere else. You act like like it's only a big deal because it is osu. That's a double standard. I am sure it's in a mission statement that members of the university staff will act responsibly but that didn't stop a Miami Ohio coach from punching fans in the face.

The worst thing about that is the coaches are suppsed to be the role models for their players.

When did I say any of it was acceptable? I said it is impossible for a coach to babysit over 85 kids who are on their own for the first time in their lives.

You don't have 85 kids and I garuntee you are not a perfect parent either. I garuntee your kids have done illegal things that you don't know about if they are over 16. Put youself in the coaches shoes. Could you do better? You are lying if you think you can have a team where no one gets in trouble!

The school is not the kids parents so don't blame them that's a bs cop out just to make a bogus point. The kids are who they are and the coaches aren't allowed to have enough time to really get to know them.

If anything you should congratulate tressel on how well he turns the bad ones around. He did wonders with troy smith.

On a final note it really shows your maturity level to quote me and change the words that I actually said into your own.

Loser

You stink of jealousy it's frickin ridiculous. Could you care anymore about Ohio state? You can't even go one day without talkin about them. Come out of the closet. You don't need to be a closet buckeye fan anymore.
1) I may be a graduate of OSU - but I never want to be lumped in to the group of knuckle draggers such as yourself.

You want some arrests?

http://www.cleveland.com/osu/index.ssf/ ... linem.html (2 Current Players)

Alex Boone seemed to have learned nothing under JT... nor did Donte Whitner... or for that matter Santonio Holmes seems to like to smoke the reefer.

I don't care what happens at Texas, Florida, or any other program because those programs aren't shoved down my throat as the greatest thing since the creation of the Ipod. The fact that you point to other programs, and saying that this is common behavior, implies that its acceptable.

18 yearsold are not kids, they are men, they are men when they are given money to attend school and play football. They are men when they make their decisions, and as a country we need to stop treating them as children. We need real penalties and consequences for actions.

Do you know how they discipline buckeye football players? I do. They have to get on the phone with JT in the office and call mom & dad, to tell them that there are no football tickets for them and their family members for an up coming game. They get benched for a quarter or two depending on how important you are. There is more leeway the more talented the player. And this comes from the head of the athletic department.

If there were isolated incidents, then no big deal, but there is obviously something flawed with the recruiting and discipline process when your "kids" continue to make the same mistake time and again and other players don't learn from others mistakes.

Mission statements are great, but stand for nothing, like your coach, when you lack the spine to actually follow through with real consequences for being a dumba$$.

Tiki Torch - you should be embarrassed every time your players f up. You should be embarrassed that you support that program and coach. Obviously it will take a rape or vehicular manslaughter before you take off the scarlet and gray for a day or two and realize that there are problems.

I'd expect more from you, but your constant passing of the buck, long list of excuses shows that you lack the mental fortitude to have integrity, morals, and ethics. I am sure this is serving you and your family well.

Lawyers are really garbage men in disguise as they clean up your mess. If you have enough money, your mess will always be taken care of. Do you have enough money?

LOL

You are so blind you fail to find all of the facts! Idiot!

Absolutely fu**ing pathetic you are.

The only two examples you can give me are two kids whose charges were dropped because they had a TOBACCO PIPE and only TOBACCO was found? The were only arrested on suspicion of drug paraphernalia because the cops ASSUMED (as stated earlier, the mother of all f**k ups) that they were smoking pot.

You have just lost all credibility.

I have said this a million fu**ing times now and I will say it again JT can only do so much just like you can only do so much as a parent. JT deals with a lot of kids every year.

And I never once said (or used as an excuse) that it happens everywhere else so it is acceptable here. I said that because you were singling out OSU and it wasn't fair. You missed the point even though I spelled it out for you in that way word for word in a previous post.

You can't read, you can't comprehend what you thought you read, you must have went to Kent State or Toledo.

Santonio Holmes has been out of OSU (where he never got in trouble) for several years and has the money and other influences in his life. He is a former buckeye but how can THIS one be JT's fault? It is ridiculous to pin that on JT when he has no influence on the kid anymore.

Don't take your failure as a parent out on OSU. Why does OSU have to be perfect and everyone else you "don't care about"? Shouldn't they all be held to higher standards? If your answer is yes then quit singling OSU out and look at your own pissant school and the rest of them. They are all trying to hide something, they all have at least a few kids smoking pot, drinking and driving or assaulting someone. There is no way to make all of those players behave like perfect angels. It is impossible. You are dealing with too many individuals.

Doesn't mean it is right or OK that some have legal issues but it is not right to only single one school out and act like it is the only place that it happens.

But your mind isn't going to change. Your a closed minded person fueled by hate so you fail to reason.

Go on with your pathetic life.

Your two examples aren't even examples so you have lost this argument.

JT is well respected across the nation and his players are too.

Good day.

I win.

Since you refuse to stand up like a man in the spring game attendance thread I am starting a new one every week until you do.

Admit that you posted factless information. Admit that you didn't know all of the facts. I stood up in the Free for all forum on my mistake. Now it is your turn.

quit tucking your tail and come out of hiding.

Admit it, you :smt049 Ohio State!

Carnival Freedom, was suppose to cruise the Mexican Riveria with Royal Caribbean but the Swine Flu sent that ship up to Seattle, Victoria, and some place in Oregon. As for the food it was great, I will say that Royal Caribbean had better food at their lunch buffet, but for dinner its pretty even.
