Who does Urban Meyer think he is?

George W. Bush?

"If you want to be critical of a player on our team or a coach on our team you can buy a ticket for seat 37F, you're not welcome back in the football office," Meyer said, according to the report. "You're either a Gator or you're not a Gator."

Evidently Pope Urban was criticized by a former Gator player.

I liked the comments of the former Miami player.

"Urban Meyer's not a Gator. He's a caretaker of the Gator program," Sileo said. "Most times these coaches think they're the programs, but really, the program is the players. That's the problem I have with coaches whose egos get too big for their britches. If Urban doesn't like it, that's too bad."

Either you are with the Utes or you are not? Either you are with the BGSU Falcons or you are not?

Congrats on staying in one place for more than 2 years as a head coach Mr Meyer. This guy questioning someone else's loyalty to a program is so hypocritical it's actually entertaining.

The above was one of the featured quotes on ESPN.

Well he certainly isn't Jim Tressel thats for sure...

Two Division I National Championships
Undefeated in BCS game appearances
.830 winning percentage

UM likes to be in control of what is said about his program, like any good coaching staff or athletic department. What pushed him over the edge is that his own family was airing out the laundry for everyone to hear.

+1. Say what you want about Meyer, the dude is one of the two best coaches in America. Pete Carroll being the other.
