They are getting ROCKED by OSU and NIU seems to be handling Purdue fairly easily so far.
Is Toledo exposed and how bad is Colorado?
RF's spin on this should be good!

Way to go NIU! 28-21 winner over Purdue. EMU hung with UM for a while and then Wolverines put the pedal down.

Colorado is up Wyoming, 17-0, 2nd quarter. Indiana leads Akron, 17-14.

I got back from the Purdue-NIU game a bit ago. Purdue is VERY lucky that the game was as close as it was. NIU outplayed them in all phases of the game. Great win for a MAC team!

Toledo's play calling was awful from their first series on. They gave no indication of running the ball pretty much ever.

From the replay of the Purdue game that I was able to watch, and from attending the Toledo/Colorado game, I knew that Toledo would have trouble with OSU.
Toledo's run defense is terrible. I expected Toledo to score a few times, but I new that OSU would have the upper hand.
Problem is, we haven't established much of a running game yet. I have faith in Toledo's new coach (aka BGSU's old D-Coach) to maintain status quo. The question is, will we establish a running game by the end of the season? If we can, I think we can expect to lay a hurting on Toledo at the end of the season. If not, god knows what will happen.
Go Falcons!
