Michigan to play first night game at Big House

Talk about the Buckeyes the Wolverines the Hilltoppers the Ducks the Beavers the Chanticleers... or anyone else who isn't BG or an opponent in this forum.

Michigan to play first night game at Big House

Announced today that Michigan will play Notre Dame next year in the first night game ever to be held at the Big House.

I still wonder why Ohio State and Michigan didn't install permanent lights when they refurbished their stadiums since they both play late afternoon games in the fall and need lights by the finish of the game. Must have been a money issue.

Yeah, right...Big11 schools had trouble coming up with money for their Football programs... :roll:

No, that's not the issue...if they spend money on lights, they won't have enough to pay the players.

Anyway, I wonder who will be coaching Michigan by the time the game gets played.

Ohio State doesn't do night games because their fans push the envelope when it comes to drinking alcohol.

Night games at OSU? How can you tell with all the dumpsters burning, and all those tailgate fans who are very much "lit-up." ;-)

Ohio State has no reason to install lights. When they do have night games the TV network pays for the rental of the lights.
