2011 Verbals

Just for the heck of it, I decided to check out the verbal commits for the 2011 class (incoming HS Srs.). Most of the MAC schools had only a few (BG listed with 2 at present time)....but Ball State is kicking butt....they've already had, I believe, NINE commits for next year, including 5-6 from OHIO...and they've been hitting NE Ohio big time over past few yrs. I know that a verbal now means little, but it was interesting to see how the schools have done so far... BTW,Temple is also approaching double figures too... seems like these schools are working a bit harder at recruiting than the others, at least based upon numbers... you can check them out on Scout.com or Rivals.com.

Ten kids who are second team All-Suburban league in Division 4F doesn't really mean much, though. Kids commiting this early are likely hedging-quality, not quantity is really the measure of KBing.
