More proof we hired the right coach. IMO
Beckman Issues Gag Order

Seems to me like the players gagged before and during the game, not after it! ;)

I had two wishes yesterday. 1. NIU hammers Toledo on national TV. 2. BG beats up the 'Hawks on national TV tonight!

1 down, 1 to go!

Man, NIU looks T O U G H....best team in the MAC. Their only losses were at Illinois, 28-22, and at Iowa State, 27-16. They totally ripped ut a new one.

Yeah, man. The MAC power recently has been CMU, but it's starting to look like CMU's strength was a result of one hell of a QB, a few offensive playmakers, and great coaches. This year, CMU returns much of last year's squad, but they just look bad. Similar to Ball State - it's looking like their 2007 and 2008 successes were reflective largely of Nate Davis and Brady Hoke and a few playmakers, not the entire team.

NIU, on the other hand, doesn't just revolve around Harnish and Spann. That team is solid. Great players on both sides of the ball and some very good depth. This is the most complete MAC team I've seen in quite some time. They're going to be good for a while I think.
