I just heard Urban is calling it quits at Florida and will be stepping down tonight.

Seriously, can this man PLEASE fall off the face of the earth so we stop hearing about him?!?!? It's becoming very "Farve-esk" and quite sad. He was too sick to coach, then he wasn't. We wasn't leaving (twice) then did did leave (TWICE). If he ends up in the NFL then he needs to "man-up" and tell the truth. If negotiations are not at a point where he can talk then do the world a favor and SHUT UP! I am over him.

Watching the press conference at this time. Will be interesting to see what his next move is.

Watched his press conference and he made an interesting comment - "I have one best friend at the University of Georgia and the other is a senior in high school." He never mentioned Shelly. I would have thought he would have said something about his wife in his statement.

After reading numerous articles on ESPN.com, it sounds as if the family was upset he returned to coaching after he stepped down. There may have been some family/marital strife, but I'm not believing he was unfaithful (I think Florida would have told him he was not going to coach the bowl game if he had done something stupid like that).

Because he was here for all of about 5 minutes, his terms of leaving were entirely different and the MAC an MWC are always in the news for that stuff because everyone cares about them so much. The SEC never is right? and Florida is not known for being overrun with thug players getting arrested But like I said it's just a guess. So sorry to think ill willed of Saint Urban.
