I am hearing rumors that OSU will need a new coach tomorrow. Anybody heard anything yet?

It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Tressel can start sweating under that vest if Urban Meyer suddenly is seen in Columbus.

Ahem.....it's Upper Arlington where Shelly and husband have supposedly purchased their house.

My guess is that 99.9% of all residents of Upper Arlington have been seen in Columbus...

Luke Fickell named interim head coach (while Tressell sits out his two-game-voluntarily-turned into-five-game suspension).

OK, lets call it out here. What odds will people give, that Tressel never coaches again at OSU? IE: the issue escallates and OSU decides not to let him off suspension. What I'm reading now is that this could put OSU into the "repeat violator" category, and bring the hammer down rather hard on football at the very least. What if they seek to throw him under the buss to save as much face as they can? Or will worry over a Woody II make them cling a bit longer?

After seeing Gee at the last press conference, I can't believe there is any way OSU actually fires him. The only way he is gone is if the NCAA actually forces him out. Which I think is entirely possible.

It is such an amazing screw-up it is hard for anybody who isn't Gee to white-wash it. It is a really really bad gaffe, one that it is hard to explain away.

Ironically the Fiesta Bowl, an OSU favorite is also in trouble.

Woody knew he did wrong and knew that there was no way he should be allowed to retire, so he told AD Enerson that he would have to fire him. I'm not sure Tressell sees anything wrong with what he has done.

And the proof:

"The largest regrets I've had in my life have been when I've disappointed people, when I've let people down," Tressel said while facing the media for the first time since March 8, when the violations were revealed. "The mistakes I've made are very disappointing. I'm sorry for that, as I've mentioned many times."

Mistake? Are you freakin' kidding me???????

You willfully perpetrated a fraud as you knew your star QB would have been suspended immediately.

IF o$u starts to tank and sinks, I would love to see how the t shirt alumni and rest of their fan base reacts. It happened at USC, Penn State, ND, Alabama, Oklahoma, Michigan and other powers. They went thru losing seasons.

I must say....I would thoroughly enjoy it. lol.
