Tomorrow OSU has its hearing, but that might not be where it ends. It appears the ncaa is already considering a second hearing.

Here's hoping it continues for the next hundred years.

Ohio State just called Miami and said "Thanks for taking the attention away from us but you didn't need to go THAT far."

Yeah, the unfortunate part is that now we'll have to hear OSU fans using Miami as the reason why they should be allowed to do what they do.

Or just as to why what O$U did isn't AS BAD AS what the U did.

Yesterday Tressel and Lloyd Carr of all people were at the Browns practice. Carr reportedly characterized the Tressel firing as "tragic". Yeah...I just lost a lot of respect for Carr with that one!

Will OSU and Miami be able to field enough players for a game this year? Or will OSU have to lend Miami a few like you did in Little League when some of the kids on the other team had vacations or dance lessons or whatever.

Truth be told, the Miami situation should prompt harsher penalties for OSU. ESPN, several months back, referred to the past year as "the most scandalous in the history of sports".

Miami only serves to reinforce that the NCAA needs to stop sparing the rod with the the big money schools. Miami, like OSU, is a repeat offender. Obviously, they didn't learn their lesson the last time...just like OSU didn't learn their lesson in 2004 with their basketball team.

The only logical conclusion is that both need the kiss of death.
