They should call this the Fraud Bowl. A battle of point shavers vs. (well OSU has too many infractions to list). Regardless I still cannot cheer for Bancroft High.

Rooting for the Rockets as well. they lead 22-21 with 4:50 left in the 3rd quarter.

Also going on, the CMU Chippewas are leading the Kentucky Wildcats 13-6 with 4 mins left in the 3rd.

CMU has totally self-destructed late in the 3rd, they now trail 20-13 after giving up an 87 yard TD run that should've been dead to rights at the line of scrimmage.

If a game was ever set up for UT to win it was this one: coach gone, QB gone, multiple suspensions, program in general turmoil vs. 18 returning starters and some legitimate playmakers at the skill positions.

The big difference in this one were penalties:

OSU 2 for 13 yards
UT 14 for 102 yards

Whether it's penalties or phantom turnovers the refs are always on their side in these types of games.

ut lacked the proven gamer QB. Had they had a guy like Bruce G yesterday, ut would have beaten that team by 2-3 td's. Beckman should have gone to Owens sooner...he seems more accurate and mobile than Dantin.

A golden opportunity slipped away....just like BG in 2003. The diffenence was osu was #4 and defending BCS Champs. Krenzel didn't play but that was about it. BG had them on the ropes and just couldn't deliver the KO. It will happen some day...
