Okay, people are coming into my office saying that Urban has a contract for 7 years @ 35 million for OSU. Has anyone heard this yet? Or is it just a rumor?

Deal Imminent?

If you wade through some of the name-calling on that thread you'll see that someone posted Coach Stud was a good bet to follow Urbie to Cowtown.

Saturday he said he had not talked to, been offered, or accepted an offer from any school. That was 11/19/2011. Today in the Dispatch that language changed. So given his track record I expect him being announced as the new head coach somewhere in the next couple weeks.

I think it's a done deal....and expect an announcement next week after the Michigan game.

I still don't think he makes a decision until the NCAA gives it's ruling.

An announcement naming Urban Meyer the coach of the Buckeyes will come in one week during halftime of the college basketball game between Duke and OSU.

I beleive he will be the coach, I don't beleive they will name him then.

I before E except after C. And I am about 85 percent confident he will be named during halftime of the game

Note that DJ Durkin is supposedly going to OSU as well to be the Defensive Coordinator.

Is that when their announcement will be? I think they will weigh the alternatives. Its the neighborly thing to do. I hear pregame. But you ARE right about "believe".
