Boise State keeps a rollin'....

Post by Falconfreak90 »

It is an absolute travesty Boise State is NOT in a BCS Bowl this season. 1 loss on the year to an 11-2 TCU team, 36-35. BSU whipped Georgia in the opener by two TD's in Atlanta. Should finish in the Top 5 for the year...hats off to a GREAT program that continues to roll. 5-0 vs BCS AQ teams including GA, Oregon (twice)...and rolling Arizona State 56-24 in the Las Vegas Bowl late tonight. This team can beat anyone, anytime, save possibly LSU and Alabama.

And their lone loss came when the running back Martin was out with an injury. BCS just trying to keep the little guys down.

I posted on facebook yesterday that it is a complete travesty when the #7 team in the nation is facing an unranked opponent in a Bowl Game. #7 + Unranked Team = RED FLAG!

They could have at least got a good bowl that wasn't a BCS game. Boise vs Arkansas would have been an awesome matchup.

Moore was a couple field goals away from being 53-1 for his career.

I heard Jim Delaney actively worked to keep BSU out of the BCS. He didn't want them to embarrass one of his teams. Just image a BCS bowl win of Boise over Michigan. Would that actually be an upset??

No. I'm guessing Boise would be favored by at least 5.

Boise State is a classic case why BOWLING GREEN or ANY MAC school NEVER EVER compete at a national level. Bosie has along been I A since 96' and they have had 10 or more wins in all but five of the last fifteen years. MAC titles and maybe a top 25 ranking is the best is going to get. Those that want to say Game Day was here when Urban was here and two top fifteen teams played from the MAC on that day. Guess what it hasn't happened before or since. That was a flash in the pan. We all had fun that year. If BG goes undefeated next year they will not be ranked higher then an undefeated or one loss team from the SEC, BIG 12, PAC 10 or BIG 10.

Game day was here when Brandon was coach. ...the MAC had a better rep then, but for the first time in a long while I think the conference was better as a whole this year than it was the previous year. Score a few bowl wins, beat a BCS team or two OOC and the conference champ might top out in the 10-15 range.
