UT also announced a home and home series with UC. That is 1 school I would love for BG to play home and away

Seeing Page declare for the NFL is a relief cuz that kid can light it up.

Re: Page leaving!
Originally I was really shocked he was leaving. Then I thought about it ...
There's not much more for the guy to accomplish. His personal accomplishments speak for themselves, he won a bowl game, and all he hasn't done is win the MAC. The odds of that happening next year weren't good for UT given their losses.
He's not prototypical NFL size. One more year of school isn't going to change that. One more year of school does bring the risk of injury, though. He's a tough guy and doesn't seem to be injury prone, but you never know.
So yeah, leaving now kinda makes sense.

$400,000 grand minimum salary for an NFL rookie? Not bad. We're paying him less than half of that and even with the savings on Beckman's salary we can't give Page the raise he deserves so , yeah , it makes sense for him to go.

Re: Page leaving!
UT loses a lot on the OL and they lose Adonis Thomas at RB. It was going to be tough for Page to equal this year's numbers. Good luck to him...he showed a lot of character in sticking to UT after Amstutz left and some BCS schools came calling...
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.
