Joe Paterno has died. I choose to, for now, forget about the recent tragedy at Penn State and honor Joe for all he has done for the sport we love and for so many college age men.
Rest peacefully, Joe.
Goodbye, Joe

Joe Paterno was Penn State.
I wondered if he would follow "Bear" Bryant when he retired. Sadly, he did so.
The last legend of college football. Forty-six years at one institution.

Re: Goodbye, Joe
That he likely dies even without the Sandusky issue, that he did less than 90 days after he was fired will roil the PSU alumni more.
