"Kehres, 63, had a remarkable 332-24-3 record in his 27 seasons with the Purple Raiders. His teams were unbeaten in the regular season 21 times. The national championships came in 1993, 1996, 1997, 1998, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2008 and 2012. His .929 winning percentage in all games is the best ever at the college level".

Simply mind boggling how it was so rare for his teams to lose. Mt Union's about 25 or 30 min from me and always got good press in the Akron/Canton area. Will anyone be able to touch this record???? Lance Leipold at Wisconsin-Whitewater is off to a killer start at 97-6 in 6 years. UWW and Mt have played each other for the III title the last 7 years, I think.

Kehres is a class act as well and loyal big time to the school. Congrats to him on a career of excellence.

24 losses in 27 season, simply amazing. I know 11 is a lot of national titles, but it feels like they won more then just 11
