WMU just announced that they have received an anonymous $550 million donation, the largest *ever* to any public university in the nation. $50 million of it will go towards athletics. This is an amount that can completely change the outlook for an institution at that level. I'd look for some major changes/advancements at their university in the next 10-15 years.

Truly amazing. It sets the bar for what a donation to a university can look like so for their good, I sincerely hope it is well spent and makes a long lasting impact. This is a donation from an anonymous pool of donors so amazing job by all keeping it anonymous.
