Ohio Northern ranked #8 in SI Pre-Season Poll

Talk about the Buckeyes the Wolverines the Hilltoppers the Ducks the Beavers the Chanticleers... or anyone else who isn't BG or an opponent in this forum.

Just thought it was kind of cool to see them ranked #8 in the SI Pre-Season DIII poll... in the same issue we're ranked #23 in DI.

Thanks for pointing that out Grant. I had a number of friends play for ONU in the past and loved going to the occasional game. And depending on which flavor of the month poll you look at, ONU is ranked #5 (www.D3Football.com), #8 (Street and Smith’s and SI), and #9 (Lindy’s) in the preseason DIII polls. Not to shabby. Mount Union is of course just ahead of ONU in the polls as well.
