EMU seems to be the only directional with any kind of an upside. They got a bit stronger as the year went on last year, and they seem to be recruiting pretty well lately. Hopefully they can get a couple more wins this year than last. Of all the teams that we consider to be "dead weight" in the MAC right now, EMU is the only one I see showing REAL signs of making a comittment to football. With their dismal attendance last year, there is no place for them to go but up!
I just wish the NCAA would implement a rule that a conference could keep no more than one directional school from a single state. I'd keep EMU.
