I can't remember an article literally made me start crying:

What a beautiful story.

Say what you want about the team, but that has to be the classiest act i've ever seen a Coach do. High marks in anybody's book for that. Its just a shame the kid couldn't live to see his play carried out.

Weis puts on the hard-ass image on the sideline, but he's someone I think we all strive to be. Notre Dame will run a clean program and will return to greatness.

Definitely an awesome story, but you were right, it made me cry. There is a 4 year old boy at my kids' school who has Stage 4 cancer. They honored him at the football game Friday night, and he was the Honorary Captain. I literally could not stop crying every time I saw him. It broke my heart to think that he might not get to go to another game & his family may never get to experience playing sports with him or seeing him play. Totally, and completely gut wrenching.
Way to go Charlie Weis!

that is touching, kinda like when Jeter hit those two home runs---eh home run and a triple with an error--on that Seinfeld episode

That was Columbus Brookhavens' own Paul O'Neill (size 18's and all).

I respect him more not as a coach, but as a human being for doing that. Never in a million years would I thought a coach would do that. Unbelievable
