PSU student section

Post by kdog27 »

I saw the second half after the BG game. That student section was something else. The all white with the 'S' in the middle looked awesome on TV.

Also glad to see PSU on top of the Big Ten

they also pissed in bottles and thre them at the OSU band..they also threw bottles filled with rocks at them...pretty classy for a team who has been at the botton for 4 years...

Michigan, Wisconsin and MSU still get them...UM and MSU get em at home. PSU will go down.. OSU STILL can win big ten. Go Bucks!

I almost got in a fight with OSU for wearing something orange at a BG/OSU hockey game. OSU fans are some of the biggest jerks, bullies, and idiotic fans in the nation.

OSU will be lucky to finish 3rd in the Small Eleven this season.

Yes, we all know the OSU fans are such classy fans themselves.

BTW, were you there and did you witness these actions?

OSU ain't gonna win the Big 10. Their offense is a joke and Tressel has no clue what he's doing with it. If it wasn't for their awesome defense, they'd be lucky to win 5 games.

it was reported on ESPN, local news and newspapers. Their offense isnt that bad when they want to use it. It wasnt that bad against Miami, it wasnt that bad against texas ...it was bad against San diego. It was Awesome against Iowa and medicore against PSU and they still were on the verge of winning that game..they were driving.

It just seems that the O- coordinator calls god games when he wants too..We have seen flashes of an excellent Offense then other times its flat. Just like Michigan game last year..offense was off and on last season..against michigan it hit on all cylinders.. they are not done.

I'm certain the "guest" is Tikini whatever his sign in name is. See it's easy playing all home games but once you hit the road then you see how good your team really is.

The ohio state offense is pathetic. It's been that way for a few years now.

Don't expect people to feel sorry for osu fans around here except for the given few. A lot of us including me and my family were disrespected when we went to the BG game at osu two years ago. Although I don't condone throwing bottles of urine at people maybe it will wake osu fans up and they will see that's not how you treat guests at your home.

actually...that wasn't me. There is no point in telling me or whoever the guest was however about how bad OSU fans are? I dont treat people bad when I go to OSU games..so what do you want me to do about the others? everyone has asshole fans even BG..trust me, i've seen em.

I did not witness any of the stuff the Texas fans were talking about when they were in town either...I never seen anyone say much of anything to Texas fans except an occasional joke, nothing serious or in an asshole manner..I was suprised, but I did NOT see any of it..

I am willing to bet a lot of it was probably students who were around and that it was after the game.

P.s. don't assume things

Not sure if that's a question really. There is a point in telling "the guest" how bad the fans are because if you're going to come on here and whine about other fans make sure you look at yourselves first.

Actually no, I was talking about ohio state. See we didn't pay San Diego St. over a million dollars to change a road game to a home game like the buckeyes did last year. We don't payoff teams to get extra home games.

The buckeyes have already played four home games this year we have a total of five all year. We had a total of five last year and if you want to check further I'm willing to bet we played five the year before that. Not to mention we play 6 road games which means we play more road games than home. We don't have the luxury of starting out the season with four straight home games and having 7-8 a year.

I want to see when osu has more away games than home games like BG has had for a few years now. When you find out then come back to me. So yes BG has hit the road and been successful if we weren't we wouldn't have made/won a bowl games. All osu has to do is win a few home games and they are a lock for a bowl game.

I'm sitting here, trying to decide if I want to respond to this thread...

Sorry, you aren't going to get me to feel bad that OSU fans where mistreated. I do kinda feel bad that the band got harassed, but I'm slightly biased there because a) I have friends in the OSUMB and b) being a former band geek myself I hate seeing any band harassed (even if it is the so called 'Best Damn Band in the Land' ) I hate that occurances like that happen, but I don't feel bad that it happened to OSU fans.

As for OSU's offense...I think it would be best if I not dignify this debate with response...to easy to cause trouble and offend the "touchy" OSU fans who can't seem to take the truth.

BTW Tricky, LOVE the avatar! Possible the best on the site!!I'm not biased toward the band at all, am I?

Where did you get this from? I believe this game was a makeup from a contract before 9/11? Be realistic. your making your own arguments illegit.

Check the schedule of every major BCS powerhouse football team. I bet they all have more home games than away games. Michigan, Iowa, Florida, GA, FSU, Miami, Oklahoma Texas..and so on and so on. your just singling out OSU unfairly...its EVERYONE in the BCS

I want to see when osu has more away games than home games like BG has had for a few years now. When you find out then come back to me. will never happen. check response to above paragraph. Its the way it is. The home games they play against Big ten opponents are set years in advance. Those home games are like 1 of 2 or three big ten away games those teams have..get over it. BG would have to schedule 2 div 1-AA teams to get a schedule with more home games than away games.

PLUS next year BG ha 2 home OOC games. they may have 6 and 6

OK, I'll come in to set the record straight on this one.

San Diego State approached OSU officials about OSU buying the game and having it at Ohio Stadium. Seems the SDSU Athletic Department is having some trouble balancing the books, so they offered the game to OSU for the opportunity to make a little $$$.

This happens all the time in the BcS conferences. Wake Forest sold a few home games to Florida State back in the 90's and FSU played those games in Jacksonville, Tampa, and other cities in Florida.

If we're going to accuse OSU of something, at least get it right.
