Also I think some need to be reminded that the Bengals are going to win the AFC North NOT Pittsburgh. for a few certain someone(s) who are UM and Steeler fans thats gotta add even more sting to your football season, If I were on of you I'd go into hibernation until next season.

It seems like you're awfully interested in the misfortune of others. That's no way to live your life son. And the B-10 automatic bid went to PSU since they beat OSU. OSU was an at-large bid, so it seems they don't have it so bad after all.

I really hate backing Teke Torch on this, but he is right. The suckeyes finished 4th, that gets them an automatic bid. Still, I hadn't made up my mind on which team to cheer for, figured I would root for OSU since they are the OH team. But after reading the earlier post now I just hope they end up in a big fight, the game gets cancelled and no one wins.

TEMPE, Ariz. -- Matching Ohio State against Notre Dame ended up being an easy decision for the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl.

The Buckeyes will be making their third appearance at Sun Devil Stadium in four years. Notre Dame returns to the Bowl Championship Series at the site of its last appearance five years ago, and its last national title in 1989.

Leading up to college football's Selection Sunday, it was practically a foregone conclusion that the Fiesta Bowl would select the Fighting Irish, but there was much speculation about whether Ohio State or Oregon would be the opponent.

Ultimately, there was really no choice to be made.

The Buckeyes finished fourth in the final BCS standings, earning an automatic spot in the four big-money bowl games. The Irish also qualified automatically by finishing sixth. In the end, there were no at-large bids available for Oregon (10-1).

I'd explain my apathy about this, but don't really care enough.

man you are smart...sine lsu and vatech lost osu moved to bcs #4. an automatic bid.

PSU got nothing that OSU didn't get .

tell me i'm wrong...there were no at-large bids. ND and OSU were locks wit auto bids


i'm only interested cos your a michigan fan and a steelers fan to top it off....
