i think that you mean Louisiana Tech, not Tennessee Tech.Dayons_Den wrote:Falconboy and UK's rant on the women's hoop page got me thinking about how schools womens and mens programs compare in Hoops. Please help me with the list. . .

this is all off of the top of my head without actually looking back at any records or anything, but i thinkt that you can add Notre Dame to the "both good" list. maybe even ohio state. baylor has a solid women's team, while the men shoot guns better than basketballs. duke has two good teams of late. new mexico tends to have a pretty good women's team, and not so much on the men's side.

Duke and UNC were the first that came to my mind. Maryland is getting up there. You mistakenly put Tenn as having a good mens and womens team, might want to make that just womens. If you count smaller schools, Liberty University (the cinderella from last year) has won the Big South like 9 straight years or something like that, and probably has one of the best winning percentages in that time span. And I can pronounce both of the Duke coaches names, and can spell coach K. I'd have to guess for coach G.

You cheat- you live over there and are exposed to them from a young age!BGSUVA wrote:Duke and UNC were the first that came to my mind. Maryland is getting up there.
