Poll Stupidity

In both the AP and coaches poll, Auburn finished ranked ahead of Wisconsin.

I guess that game that took place 3 days ago in which Wisconsin dominated Auburn didn't count....

yeah, the wisconsin board was up in arms about that. The most logical explanation I can come up with, even though the polls are rarely logical, is that the voters don't vote an a week by week snapshot, but rather try to assimilate new data into their rankings each week.

Example -- Michigan beat Penn State, but they should not be ranked higher than Penn State. I know it's a stupid explanation but it's all I can come up with.
