Beer time again

Post by Pete Segaard »

For the homebrewers out there, I am getting ready for another brewday coming up and cannot make up my mind on what to brew. So with enough time to brew and ferment a lager before football season starts I am thinking of either mexican/vienna lager, pumpkin lager (a friend brews a pumpkin beer as a lager with just a couple pounds of fresh pumpkin and a hint of pumpkin pie spice), or my take on rye pale ale (I would wait about a month to start this one).

Any thoughts for a nice fall beer?

I personally don't care for beers with a roasty flavor (stouts and porters) or over about 50 ibus (although this number is slowly going up with my homebrewing).

And Grant, I have a Classic American Pilsner (nice) and a Kolsch available for sampling. :drinkers:
