That sucks, Grant. I know it's your favorite.

Pisanello's in Waterville is still going strong. We've eaten it twice in the past 2 months. Probably didn't eat PIsanello's in BG twice in the last 5 years. The Waterville version is MUCH better.

I'm still not a big "conveyor oven" pizza place, but it's better than the national chains for sure.

The Waterville and BG Pisanello's taste the same. I've had them both. Just like most chains, they are required to use the same ingredients to make sure that they all taste the same. I know the owner of the one in Bradner. They have tight control over how things are done. Also, the Waterville location is owned by the same family as the BG location. They will deliver to us so we order from there fairly frequently.

Nice writeup in one of the area papers about DeSTAZio's Pizza, which moved into Pisanello's location in Elmore. The article was all about the building restoration, nothing about the product.
Anyone here tried it?

It's great! Mike DeStazio was my 8th grade basketball coach ... and I'm now the bass player in the house band at DeStazio's Bistro across the street... which has the pizza available.
