Restaurants that make you say, *Blech*

There's a chain called Hoggys that is pretty decent also. The falcon fans met at the one in Columbus before the BG osu hockey game.

Used to work at the Hoggys near Polaris Mall. Food's not bad, but I don't think I'll ever set foot in one of their restaurants again.

Keeping things local:
Kermit's: Their breakfast is alright, but everything else is just bland as hell.
Pagliai's: Probably some of the worst pizza I've ever eaten.
BW's: Mediocre food, too expensive, awful service, I could go on and on.

In our little town, we have two pizza/Italian places right across the street from each other. Yardley Pizza is absolutely horrible; Vince's is phenomenal and everything is homemade.

The Continental Tavern in our town is in a great-looking building that sits at the intersection of the two main roads in Yardley. Perfect setting for some of the worst over-priced food and deplorable service imaginable.

As for chains ...

Slack's Hoagie Shack - woof. There are so many great cheesesteak and hoagie shops out here, I can never imagine why folks pack these places.

In defense of IHOP ... Catie absolutely loves the Harvest Grain pancakes. The one near us was embarrasingly bad until a new guy took over. Now it runs like a well-oiled (and extremely clean) machine.

I do prefer Myle's, and probably Pisanello's as well, but I think Pagliai's is pretty good pizza.

Am I to assume that you just don't like crisp crust pizza? Not sure what else there would be to not like.

The Awful House is, well, awful, but Noah & I have had many a breakfast a WH. Who knows why ... other than it's fast, cheap and, to Noah's delight, they serve waffles.

Chain popularity I don't get:

Olive Garden. Get me to Little Italy in the flats where I can spend the same amount on better food and wine.

Outback Steakhouse - although they have a really good salmon. All the other meat blows.

Any of you ever hear of "Panchos" in Texas. It's the food that will give you the trots at a very reasonable price. *shudder*

Smokey Bones. MY GOD DOES THIS FOOD SUCK. SUCK, SUCK, SUCKITY SUCK!

Agreed on Red Lobster. Worst. Seafood. Ever.

Any chain pizza joint. It all blows.

Crapper Barrel for lunch or dinner. Breakfast is decent. But, you get some wonderful ideas as to what NOT to buy for your own house.

IHOP (eye-hop) n. Schitty food AND service.

Eat-N-Park. Not only is the name freaking backwards, so is the food!

Any fast food, but that goes without saying.

Completely agree on TGIFriday's. THE most overrated establishment every - even though they trained the Cocktail cast.

Eat-n -Park used to have great breakfasts and their other meals were decent, but it has been awful for the past 10 + years.
