My favorite drinks

Post by McConvey »

I don't drink beer or wine, so if I want to get hammered, that leaves me with hard liquor. Hence, my list is a little more extensive than everyone else's seems to be. So I'll limit it to four...

1) Screaming Orgasm. Far and away my favorite drink. Not for those who hate sweet drinks! 1.5 oz vodka (not cheap vodka, though, it ruins the whole drink because of the sting and the aftertaste), .75 oz amaretto, .75 oz Kaluha, .5 oz Bailey's (though I like a bit more than that in mine). Can be served over ice as a cocktail or done as a shot.

2) Purple rain. Exact same thing as a long island, only instead of coke, put Chambord on top instead. Wicked good.

3) Raspberry mudslide from Sea Ketch in Hampton, New Hampshire. Has to be from here... nobody else compares. They must put crack in it or something because it really is better than anybody else's raspberry mudslide.

4) Straight tequilla shots. No salt or lemon or any of that crap... just slam it.

Flicc - the bourbon and ginger ale is something you should try. My wife doesn't like stuff that's too sweet, either [insert joke about being married to me here] and she enjoys the bourbon & ginger.
Thanks '87!! I'll have to try it sometime.
GO FALCONS!!
