Have you been there recently? I was there about 4 years ago and the place was totally different from what I remember. It was like eating at a low budget taco bell.rc_ziggy84 wrote:I'm shocked no one has mentioned Loma Linda's up in Swanton. The food is average at best, but they have the best Margarita's in NW Ohio, hands down! Three's good, four's a headache!

CapFalc,
I gotta agree 100% with Five Guys Burgers and Fries...good stuff...they put one in Avon recently and I had my first experience at the one in Alexandria as well. I have a buddy that works for the Ritz in Tyson's Corners as a concierge so when I went to visit him he showed me the ropes and then took me for dinner at Capital Grille which was comped...best free Filet Mignon ever.

Yeah, it's definitely changed over the years. It's nowhere near as rowdy as it used to be; it's got more of a family atmosphere. The food, like i said, is average, but the margaritas more than make up for that. I'll go elsewhere for mexican food, but when I'm in the mood for margaritas, I'll never go to some place where I pay $6 for some huge class of sweet n sour mix with a splash of tequilla in it.Redwingtom wrote:Have you been there recently? I started thinking about restaurants from areas I used to live
It has been about 12-15 years, but when my dad lived in Northeast, Pennsylvania, we used to cross the state line to Clymer, New York to the French Creek Tavern. Excellent Buffalo Wings.
I lived in Boardman for three years after BG, there was a place in Youngstown called The Elmton. Their pizza was awesome. Y'town had a lot of mom and pop type italian restaurants that were good.
