Super Bowl menu

So what do you do for the Super Bowl? Any favorite recipes, traditions, etc.?

We usually try to make things associated with the teams playing and/or where the game is held.
This year we're making Cuban sandwiches with ham, pork, swiss, and pickles to represent Miami.
Chicago has more to choose from, but I think we'll fix some Chicago hot dogs, and maybe some barbeque for Indy. Not sure if we'll make brisquet or ribs yet, though.

Of course, there will be plenty of home brew to wash it all down!

You're an awful, awful man. You'll never get to go over the magical rainbow.

My favorite - insensitive clod. Yep, no rainbow bridge for me.

We made a few batches recently, and I've got some oatmeal stout, porter, and a few holiday ales left. I've been hoarding those, because they are so tasty...

+1, 87. I wanted to make the reference, but held off.
I threw the alley oop, you slammed it home. Nice work!

Due to my inability to make chili without injuring myself I may retire from the chili biz.

As for SB menu I've got some bratwursts. I'm thinking of throwing them in a crockpot with onions, garlic, and beer. I've never done them that way, but I've heard it's pretty good...don't think I'll be hitting the grill with highs in the single digits.

Not planning on having anyone over this year, so I don't think I'll be doing up any chicken wings or anything fancy like I normally do.

Usually I like to pick up a big sub from Anderson's, chicken wings, pizza rolls, etc. Football games scream little snacky type foods to me :)

We did brats like that one year, and they turned out great. We used a roaster, put the brats and sauerkraut in with some nut brown ale. The ale added some sweetness. I'm sure your recipe will be just as good- enjoy!
