Burgers & Fries

So this past Friday I got a craving for some good, BIG, burgers and fries. So I stopped by Bellville's and picked up some goodies. Grabbed a pound of Ground Chuck, a few slices of their great pepper bacon, and a few slices of provolone.
I prefer my fries to be cooked on foil indirect over the charcoal. I think it gives much better flavor than deep fried. Usually they're healthier too, but this time I threw an entire stick of butter on them as well to see how it went...might've been too much butter, but they did taste awesome
I just cut them into thick french fry shapes, then season them with season salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, garlic cloves, 3/4 of a vidalia onion, and a little dill. They take about an hour to 1:15 to cook, but they're worth it.
For the burgers I grated the rest of my vidalia onion and a few cloves of garlic into the burger. I added a few tbsp or two of Worcestershire sauce as well. I let that sit in the fridge until the potatoes were nearing doneness. When the potatoes were getting closer I put some mushrooms (with worcestershire, salt, pepper) on along with the pepper bacon strips.
When the 'shrooms & bacon were done I assembled my burgers. I made 4 thin 1/4# patties. In the middle I put bacon, mushroom, and a slice of provolone cheese. Slapped another 1/4# patty on top and sealed them shut. I put them on the grill and cooked them direct.
When they were almost done I topped with another slice of provolone cheese.
Here are the pics...they turned out pretty damn good, IMO.
