Stuffed Mushrooms

Post by Jacobs4Heisman »

I was wondering if anybody had some really good stuffed mushroom recipes. I LOVE mushrooms, and I've tried a bunch of different stuffing recipes, but I haven't found one I really love yet. Any suggestions?

Next time your in BG/Perrysburg, go to Biaggis on Rt. 25 and order their stuffed mushrooms. Its not at all like Red Lobster or Olive Garden where butter and cheese cover up everything. Everything in the recipe makes the mushrooms taste better.

Biaggis was our favorite restaurant, and their stuffed mushrooms are the best I've ever had. I'd love to get my hands on that recipe.

Biaggi's is some good stuff. I still maintain that all Italian restaurants are overpriced (and Biaggi's is REALLY not cheap), but their food is really good.

I'm interested too, because I've never found a truly great stuffed mushroom recipe either. I know my brother has come up with a few over the years that were pretty darn good, but he's not always forthcoming with giving away his recipes...

I always thought Biaggis was priced pretty well. Comparable to places like Outback, but much better food and much better atmosphere.

I've probably tried 10 different stuffed mushroom recipes, and they're always just a touch "off". Tough to explain. Always good, but never great like I want them to be.

The best mushrooms I ever had were at a privatley owned very quaint, but extremely pricey place in Hartwell Georgia called Vickory Park. It was a few years ago and last Summer when I finally got to go back to the lake house it had been replaced by a place called siblings. Siblings is not the place Vickory park was, however dinner for two was less than20 bucks so I accepted the change for the time being.

I have a killer recipe for mushrooms that I've always like.

Ingredients:

Mushrooms
Battery Acid

Preparation:

Combine mushrooms and battery acid, stir with a metal spoon. Dispose of properly.
