I miss candy corn

Of all the things I miss about the United States. There is one thing I miss more than anything, but I am not saying. The next thing I miss most is..... candy corn.

Sure, I can't think of a person in America who wouldn't be attracted to that most satisfying shade of orange. Blue just wouldn't look very appetizing. Its the memories, though. First, you bite off the white bit off, then you nibble the yellow bit away, and when you are sure there aren't any white or orange bits at all, then it is OK to eat the orange bit. Mmm. And then the next one.
If you had to live on a rain sodden island at about 53.5 degrees of latitude (north) in a land that is never really hot but never really cold, where you can get a nice pint of cider if the beer just doesn't quite suit, what essential nourishment would be bring to sustain yourself on?
