Summer drink experiment - watermelons

The wife asked if I could make a drink out of some watermelons she picked up. Answer, of course - yes!

I put about 5 cups of cubed watermelon and two tablespoons of sugar in a blender and got it as smooth as possible, then strained out all the liquid (discarding the pulp).

Add the juice of 3 or 4 limes, then mix in the appropriate amount of tequila and triple sec (depending on your taste.

Ta da! Watermelon margarita!

I tried to do them frozen, but they ended up too frothy; putting it on the rocks did the trick. And I don't do the salt-rimmed glass, either. Too much work. :)
