I recently watched the video. Even though my BMI already had me at normal weight, I have incorporated much of what is said on the video and what I read in the book Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease by Dr. Esselstyn. I have dropped an additional 5 pounds since early June when I saw the video. 6 years ago I was over 230. This morning, I was 169.
I would rather eliminate eating pizza, steak, ribs, hoagies, cake, pie, fried foods, etc. and be healthy, than watch my weight spiral out of control making me a risk factor for heart problems.
Tailgating would certainly be different if everyone changed to a plant-based diet as talked about in the video.
FYI: In the title, the knife refers to the scalpel used to perform open heart surgery.
