JJ Beggan, an OL from the Pittsburgh area, is now being shown as a BG verbal...his name popped up earlier, but there was nothing "official" on the recruiting sites... verballed as of 8-17, according to Scout.
Seems as if we've gone HEAVY (no pun intended) on lineman so far. Hopefully these kids stay committed and show up as good players and students.
By my unofficlal count, this makes NINE verbals so far. And FIVE are either OL or DL.

Re: Another Lineman Verbal
Clawson wants us to be more committed to the run. What better way to do that than to bring in strong, capable offensive linemen? As for defensive line, I believe this is the first year in a while that we even feel semi-comfortable with the size and depth of our defensive line. The more linemen that we recruit that are beasts in the trenches, the easier it will be for the rest of the team to function. It all starts with the line.Class of 61 wrote:JJ Beggan, an OL from the Pittsburgh area, is now being shown as a BG verbal...his name popped up earlier, but there was nothing "official" on the recruiting sites... verballed as of 8-17, according to Scout.
