2027 Football Commits

BG had a big recruiting weekend this past weekend with several OVs and came away with two commits.

- DL Bo Scheetz, 6'6" 270lbs out of Fairless High School in Ohio
- DB Robert Garcia, 6' 180lbs out of Sumner High School in Florida

I didn't see any other D1 offers for Scheetz, but Garcia apparently had a number of high level offers according to 247, but since he isn't ranked, I question the validity.

This brings the class up to five so far with QB Collin Boff, RB Jance Henry Jr. and ATH Tyler Lynch (who is from the same HS as Garcia).

Chancelor Adams, a 6’2 safety from Brownsburg, IN, has committed to BG.

I'm seeing Scheetz at 300 pounds. That's a big boy for having another year of high school

A couple more commits in the door, including one that would be our 4th highest ever, per 247.

David Coleman, 3-star DB out of Florida. De-commit from Wake Forest with 27 FBS offers. Seems like a good one if he sticks.

Also a commitment from Leo McQuillan, a TE out of Indiana that's 6'3 220lbs. First FBS offer, but apparently he is a power lifter who also plays o-line and h-back, so seems like he is a very strong young man. Same high school as commit Chancelor Adams.
